Warranty

All internal parts including Crankshaft, block, head and valve train. Components on or around the engine. (ie: water pump/injection system /exhaust /chain/coils /thermostats/ flywheel/ induction system etc) are not covered under warranty

Standard (Bronze) warranty of 3 months on parts only. Extended warranty is available. View Extended warranty below.

Vehicle used in a fl­eet, taxi, government, limo service ( limo/ Uber etc) come with 30 days warranty on parts only

This warranty covers replacement or repair at the option of the seller. It does not cover any other expenses such as towing, emergency road service, lodging or related expenses.

Ensure all external seals are replaced prior to install ( rear main seal / valve cover gaskets / oil pan gasket). Leaks from external gaskets and seals are not covered under warranty.

Claims that result from overheating, accident, abuse, neglect, alteration, improper maintenance or improper installation will not be covered under warranty.

All Engines supplied are fitted with a unique T & H Wreckers heat tab. In the event of a warranty claim, the customer will be asked to provide evidence that the heat tab is intact and not melted. The melting point of the heat tab is at 127 degrees Celsius. If the heat tab is removed or melted, warranty will be void

Neither warranty will cover claims for a failed or defective engine which is caused by overheating and/or improper lubrication of the engine or its components.

Warranty is valid if installed by a certified workshop or technician only

Parts returned under warranty must be complete as sold. The warranty is void if parts are altered, dismantled or have been otherwise tampered with by a person not authorized by T & H Wreckers

A maximum of $75 (incl. GST) labour rate is payable on Gold & Platinum warranty claims. Publications such as times guide and dealer information will be used to determine set times for labour charges. The part must be checked before fitment as T & H Wreckers will not be liable for labour costs for removal. All labour claims must be approved in advance by T & H Wreckers Warranty Manager.

Part that is fitted to a vehicle that is used in racing, other competitive activity or extreme off-road purposes will result to voiding warranty

In the event T & H Wreckers denies a warranty claim, such as where the purchaser has contributed to the failure, T & H Wreckers reserves the right to recover out of pocket expenses incurred in reviewing the claim including freight and or dismantling and inspection costs and T& H Wreckers may hold onto the Purchaser pays T & H Wreckers such out of pocket expenses

This warranty is valid only to the purchaser of the part. The warranty is non-transferable and may only be used by the original buyer whose name appears on the invoice

Effective date of warranty is from the date of purchase and not from the date of installation.

Please ensure all parts installed documents are recorded to validate warranty.

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to replace the radiator and/or transmission oil cooler, flush the transmission oil cooling lines, fill differential, adjust shifter mechanisms, replace filters, replace seals, replace pan gaskets and reset or replace computer codes when installing a transmission. Neither warranty covers any loss or damage caused by a failure to replace such equipment.

Transmissions, Differentials and final drive components that have broken gears or have been subject to abuse will not be covered under any warranty conditions

Bronze (standard)

3 months on parts

Silver 

• 3 months warranty off the hoist. Labour is covered the day that the part is fitted to your vehicle and/or the date on the invoice. If the part becomes faulty two weeks down the track, then labour or losses is not covered at all. (20% additional)
• 6 months warranty off the hoist. Labour is covered the day that the part is fitted to your vehicle and/or the date on the invoice. If the part becomes faulty two weeks down the track, then labour or losses is not covered at all. (30% additional)

Gold  –  Labour 1x cover –

• 3 months warranty on parts & labour (40% additional)
• 6 months warranty on parts & labour (50% additional)

Platinum – Labour 1x cover –

Includes new water pump, seals, timing belt & chain kits. Supplied & fitted

• 3 months warranty on parts & labour (50% additional)
• 6 months warranty on parts & labour (60% additional)
• 12 months warranty on parts & labour – available for reconditions engines only

No refunds available. Only credit note with original invoice if return within 14 days of invoice date      

Parts that are a special buy in as requested by customer are not refundable.

Must be in a clean and original condition and or package as sold.

All electrical items will only be replaced, no refunds given.

Cut off body sections or incorrectly ordered parts will not be accepted for credit.

Request for a credit will be denied if customer changed his mind.
